We’ll be exploring along the northern shoreline of Langstone Harbour from Bedhampton along to the Hayling Island bridge at Langstone. The walk begins with the low tide shoreline at ‘Budds Wall’, with the long outflow line, rocky shore and wildlife. From there we trace the Solent Way walk east past the Southmoore Nature Reserve before ending up at the start of the old railway bridge that used to cross over to Hayling Island.
Expect to photograph great low tide seascape views of Langstone Harbour, discover finds on the low tide shore, spot different wildlife and end with the iconic concrete blocks leading out to the island.
By the shoreline at the end of the carpark at the end of Southmoor Lane. Parking is available here but is pay and display. The nearest bus stop is about 15 minutes walk away (up in Havant). Havant railway station is about 20 minutes walk away.
This walk is sadly not very wheelchair accessible, with uneven surfaces, mud and shingle around locations.
Please book through EventBrite online HERE and you can then pay via PayPal or on the day in cash.
