Explore Portsmouth’s natural northern edge where the historic Hilsea Lines meet Foxers Forest. This popular photography walkshop will explore this quiet and often forgotten Portsmouth location, with wildlife and nature in the woodland and on the water. We will also be exploring the different Bastions that form Hilsea Lines, once Portsmouth’s last line of defence from the north.
Expect to see nature colours and trees plus historic buildings and wonderful textures.
The northern end of Peronne Road where it ends and becomes a footpath and footbridge HERE. Free on-road parking available and a short walk from Hilsea Railway Station.
This walk is about 90% wheelchair friendly as we will be mostly on paths around the woodland or on wooden bridges.
Please book through EventBrite online HERE and payment can be done online via PayPal or in cash on the day.
