A new location for photo walkshops (but one I’ve taught photography at for a few years with a local college) is Royal Victoria Country Park near Southampton. This historic location has a really varied mix of subjects which we’ll cover over the two hours. Expect to see the newly restored landmark chapel, find the minature railway, explore the beach overlooking the busy Southampton Water and the Hythe Power Station and discover the woodland of the park itself.
The entrance to the chapel building. There is a pay and display carpark just north of the chapel.
This walk is about 90+% wheelchair friendly, with much of the route via a solid path, it will only be the beach where there is a ramp to the shoreline but it is soft sand/shingle, but there is a viewing platform to shoot from.
